ABOUT THE SUPER SHOWDOWN

 The Miami Super ShowDown High School Football Classic (Classic) is a Florida High School Athletic  Association (FHSAA) series of sanctioned EXHIBITION varsity high school football games played at the  beginning of the FHSAA football season. The Classic features Greater Miami Athletic Conference (GMAC) varsity high school football teams against TOP Public and Private varsity high school football teams from  around Florida. The Classic is a FUNDRAISER for all participating high school football teams. The Classic  consists of six football games played at historic Nathaniel Traz Powell Stadium, AKA “THE MECCA” in Miami, AKA “FOOTBALL USA.” The Classic will be produced, marketed, and promoted similarly in scope to collegiate  events such as the Florida Classic.
